The Cessna Employees Credit Union, in cooperation with the Cessna Employees Flying Club, offers a special loan program designed to encourage people to fly.
Members can complete the CECU Quik-App loan application and fax it to the Credit Union at 517-7668.
The Credit Union will process the application and contact the member with the final approval and loan amount. Interest rates and line of credit limits will vary based on the credit score of the applicant.
Upon approval, the member will have to go to the Credit Union to close the loan. Also, if the member wants to set up automatic payments for their Flying Club account with the Flying Club, a special checking account will be opened to allow the Flying Club to automatically deduct the payments from the members account.
If the member makes a transfer from their Flying Club line of credit to their checking account, when they receive their statement from the Flying Club, there will be no transfer fee. If they do not make the transfer, a $2.00 overdraft protection fee will be charged for the transfer. Members can make their transfers by phone, in person or on the internet.
CEFC Members who keep both their CEFC account and their CECU Flying Club Line of credit in good standing, are eligible to receive a one-time credit on their CEFC account for up to 6 months worth of interest charges that corresond to 6 months worth of flying club bills. Simply bring your CECU statements into the Flying Club office and ask Cindy to credit your account.
Questions about the program can be referred to one of the loan officers, Theresa Pope at 517-7459 or Anna Bell at 517-1743.
